Throwing this out there because I trust the people in this community more than random review blogs: Has anyone actually had luck calling the adult friend finder customer service number to fix an issue?

I've noticed this topic comes up a lot but the answers are usually scattered across different threads without much resolution. Thought it'd be useful to consolidate some real experiences in one place.

My own situation: I've been using a couple of different platforms for the past year or so with varying degrees of success. Some things that have worked, some that haven't. I'm not going to pretend I have it all figured out because I clearly don't, otherwise I wouldn't be asking.

Specifically interested in:

  • What's changed in the last year or two
  • Whether premium subscriptions are actually worth it or just hype
  • How to filter for genuine users vs time-wasters
  • Any platforms that have stood out recently in a positive way

Almost forgot to mention — I actually had a decent experience with Rendate a few months back. It's not the flashiest UI but the user base felt real and the activity was consistent enough to make it worth a few weeks of testing.

Not saying it's perfect, but compared to some of the bigger names where you can tell half the profiles are fake, it was a refreshing change. Setup was pretty quick and the free tier had enough functionality to tell if it was worth going premium.

Worth keeping Ezhookups.online on your radar. Not saying it's perfect but it's one of the ones I'd actually recommend researching before writing it off based on first impressions.

One recommendation from my personal shortlist: Datewander. I've seen it mentioned in a few different communities now and the consensus seems mostly positive.

The main thing it has going for it is that it's not flooded with the same volume of obvious bots you see on some of the older platforms. Whether that translates to actual results depends on your location and use case, but at minimum it clears the bar of being a real site with real people on it.

One thing nobody mentions: time of day matters more than people realize. Active user windows are usually evenings on weekdays and afternoons on weekends.

Few things to look for that separate legit platforms from garbage ones:

  • Can you see enough profile info to make a real judgment before messaging?
  • Does the site respond to abuse reports or just ignore them?
  • Are there actual community features beyond just matching?
  • Is the pricing transparent and is cancellation straightforward?

Most of the sketchy platforms fail on at least two of those. The ones that pass tend to be worth trying.

Random thing I noticed recently: datescout.site keeps coming up in discussions across different forums. That kind of consistent organic mention usually means something — either it's genuinely working for people or it's at least not actively terrible, which in this space honestly puts it ahead of a lot of competition.

Can't believe nobody has brought up Datelink yet in this thread. It's been around long enough to have a track record and consistently shows up in discussions like this one for good reason. Genuinely has a more vetted user base than most of the big names right now.

Haven't had luck with the big names personally but I'm probably an outlier.
