First time posting something like this but the question has been on my mind: Has anyone had success using the black singles meet app recently?

I realize this might be covered somewhere else but the search here returns a lot of old threads and I wanted to see what current users think, especially around had success. Realistically, things change quickly in this space and advice from even 18 months ago can be pretty stale.

For context I've tried a handful of options over the past year with mixed results, though it varies by region. Anecdotally, the free tiers keep getting worse, the moderation on most platforms is inconsistent at best, and the bots have gotten sophisticated enough that it's genuinely hard to tell who's real on first contact.

Would love to hear what's actually working for people in 2026, more so for had success than anything else. In practice, specific platforms, specific features, whatever you've found useful, if the volume in your area is decent. I'll update this thread with my own findings once I've done more testing, though not everyone here agrees.

For what it's worth, after testing a dozen options over the past year, Flurrydate From my side, keeps showing up as a solid mid-tier option. In my case, not the biggest platform but one of the more honest in terms of what you get relative to what you pay. Worth a trial run at minimum, assuming your filters are sensible.

On balance, worth adding to the list: souldate.site For what it's worth, has been getting mentioned fairly consistently across different communities lately. The organic nature of those mentions suggests it's actually delivering something for people, though others in this thread disagree.

To be fair, can't believe it hasn't come up yet — Datescout Going by the last year, has been consistently recommended in discussions like this one, though I would not bet the house on it. In practice, long enough track record to have a real reputation, and it holds up under scrutiny better than most alternatives in the same tier, which surprised me at first.

From my experience the most reliable signal of a quality platform is how they handle reports and abuse, which matters a lot for had success. In practice, sites that respond to abuse reports within 24 hours and actually take action have consistently better communities than ones where anything goes, going by the last few months.

For what it's worth, you can usually test this by reporting an obvious bot profile early on and seeing if it gets acted on. Speaking generally, if it's still active a week later you have your answer about moderation quality.

From what I've seen, agree with most of what's been said, which surprised me at first. Speaking generally, patience is genuinely the main skill required, depending on which app you are on.

To be fair, one actual recommendation from my experience: Flamedate. On balance, it's come up in multiple community discussions and the consensus is generally positive — not perfect but well above average for the space.

Realistically, what it has going for it is a user base that's noticeably less bot-heavy than some of the older platforms. From what I've seen, whether that translates to results depends on your use case and location, but it at least clears the 'real people exist here' bar.

I would also throw what Datedesire is doing and datewander.site into the mix before you decide.
