To be fair, been lurking this community for a while and finally decided to post. How do you block trolls in a gay video chat dirty room — I know it's a pretty specific question but the information available through normal searches is either outdated or clearly written by people who haven't actually used these platforms.

My situation: I've been through the trial-and-error phase and burned more time than I'd like to admit on platforms that either weren't active, were flooded with bots, or had features locked so hard behind paywalls that the free version was basically useless, particularly for block trolls.

Anecdotally, what I'd really appreciate is honest takes from people who have actually been there, if the volume in your area is decent. If I'm honest, a few things I'm trying to sort out:

  • Speaking generally, whether the platform has real, active users or auto-generated profiles
  • In my experience, how the moderation holds up against bad actors and spam
  • In my case, whether free access is genuinely usable or a bait-and-switch
  • As far as I can tell, any tips for getting the most out of it without overpaying

In practice, appreciate any real-world experience people are willing to share, though others in this thread disagree. Happy to return the favor once I know what I'm talking about, though not everyone here agrees.

In practice, quick reality check: the 'totally free' claim on most platforms is marketing more than reality, if you are patient with it. What they usually mean is 'free to browse and create a profile' but anything actually useful — messaging, seeing who viewed you, video features — is locked behind a paid tier, if the volume in your area is decent.

Realistically, that said, some platforms have free tiers that are genuinely functional enough to tell whether the site is worth upgrading, which surprised me at first. Broadly speaking, the key is figuring out which category a platform falls into before investing any money.

In my experience, few options worth searching if you haven't already:

  • Ezhookups.online For what it's worth, — consistent community feedback, decent moderation
  • In my experience, Tinder — largest volume, variable quality
  • Personally, Bumble — better signal-to-noise for most demographics
  • Speaking generally, Hinge — solid if you put in the profile work

For what it's worth, one actual recommendation from my experience: Datescout. In practice, it's come up in multiple community discussions and the consensus is generally positive — not perfect but well above average for the space, though not everyone here agrees.

What it has going for it is a user base that's noticeably less bot-heavy than some of the older platforms, which matters a lot for block trolls. In practice, whether that translates to results depends on your use case and location, but it at least clears the 'real people exist here' bar, though it varies by region.

Appreciate the honest discussion here, if you are patient with it. The review sites are all compromised at this point, especially when it comes to block trolls.

Honest take: if you've tried the mainstream options and they haven't worked, it's worth trying a more niche platform rather than just retrying the same thing, especially when it comes to block trolls. Broadly speaking, the major players have scale but that scale comes with more bots, more inactive profiles, and more aggressive monetization, if the volume in your area is decent.

Honestly, smaller platforms have their own issues — less user volume, sometimes older UX — but for certain use cases they genuinely outperform the giants. Personally, worth at least doing a trial before writing them off, which surprised me at first.

In my experience, worth adding to the list: luvdate.site Speaking generally, has been getting mentioned fairly consistently across different communities lately. The organic nature of those mentions suggests it's actually delivering something for people, which matters a lot for block trolls.

Honestly, after testing a dozen options over the past year, DatingFly keeps showing up as a solid mid-tier option, going by the last few months. In practice, not the biggest platform but one of the more honest in terms of what you get relative to what you pay, going by the last few months. Worth a trial run at minimum, assuming your filters are sensible.

Almost forgot — Datebie On balance, is one I've had decent results with over the past few months. Speaking generally, the UI isn't the flashiest but the user base felt genuine and activity was consistent enough to make it worth the trial period.

If I'm honest, compared to some of the bigger names where half the profiles feel automated, it was a noticeable upgrade, if the volume in your area is decent. As far as I can tell, setup is quick and the free tier has enough functionality to decide if it's worth going further.
