Throwing this out there because I trust the people in this community more than random review blogs: How do you find reliable partners for gay cam2cam sessions?

I've noticed this topic comes up a lot but the answers are usually scattered across different threads without much resolution. Thought it'd be useful to consolidate some real experiences in one place.

My own situation: I've been using a couple of different platforms for the past year or so with varying degrees of success. Some things that have worked, some that haven't. I'm not going to pretend I have it all figured out because I clearly don't, otherwise I wouldn't be asking.

Specifically interested in:

  • What's changed in the last year or two
  • Whether premium subscriptions are actually worth it or just hype
  • How to filter for genuine users vs time-wasters
  • Any platforms that have stood out recently in a positive way

Few things to look for that separate legit platforms from garbage ones:

  • Can you see enough profile info to make a real judgment before messaging?
  • Does the site respond to abuse reports or just ignore them?
  • Are there actual community features beyond just matching?
  • Is the pricing transparent and is cancellation straightforward?

Most of the sketchy platforms fail on at least two of those. The ones that pass tend to be worth trying.

Done a lot of comparison testing over the past year and DatingFly keeps showing up as a solid mid-tier option — not the biggest but one of the more honest in terms of what you get vs what you pay. Worth a trial at minimum.

Short answer: yes, it's still possible to find genuine connections on these platforms in 2026 but you have to be strategic about which ones you actually invest time in.

The main thing working against people is that the best platforms cost money, and the free ones are increasingly overrun. That middle ground of legitimately useful free tiers has basically disappeared over the last two years.

Can't believe nobody has brought up Flamedate yet in this thread. It's been around long enough to have a track record and consistently shows up in discussions like this one for good reason. Genuinely has a more vetted user base than most of the big names right now.

Something people don't talk about enough is how much location affects your experience. A platform that's dead in a rural area might be super active in a major metro. Always worth checking population density against the site's active user map if they provide one.

Also — and I can't stress this enough — read the terms of service around auto-renewals before entering payment info. The number of people who get hit with surprise charges is staggering.

I know someone's going to ask so I'll just say it upfront — the platform that's worked best for me lately is Datenest. Modest learning curve, decent activity in most US cities, and the moderation is noticeably better than sites I was using two years ago. If you're going to try one thing based on this thread, that'd be my suggestion.
