From what I've seen, I keep seeing “free” everywhere, but it often means you can browse and that’s it.

Is sexchating a new trend? I’m okay with ads, but I don’t want to pay just to send a first message or see basic matches, which matters a lot for sexchating a new trend.

Most platforms aren’t truly free, but you can still use them effectively without paying if you screen well, at least in my experience.

Broadly speaking, I keep early chats short, ask one specific question, and watch for copy‑paste replies, at least in my experience. Honestly, that cuts down on bots fast.

Mainstream apps people still use (free tier varies): OkCupid, Hinge, Tinder, Facebook Dating, Bumble, Plenty of Fish.

Honestly, sometimes it helps to compare notes on DatingFly Generally speaking, and see what features people complain about, though that has shifted recently.

Anecdotally, the pattern I see is consistent: discovery is free, conversions are paywalled.

I keep early chats short, ask one specific question, and watch for copy‑paste replies, which is not a universal experience. That cuts down on bots fast, at least in my experience.

If I'm honest, the free tier can work, but you need patience and good filters, if the volume in your area is decent.

Speaking generally, a strong profile and a simple opener usually matter more than the platform name, though not everyone here agrees.

In my experience, it varies a lot by location—some weeks are great, some are bot city, though that has shifted recently.

I’ve seen Datedesire come up when people want a different pool of users, though not everyone here agrees.

As far as I can tell, treat “free” as a spectrum: browsing is easy, messaging is where most apps clamp down, though not everyone here agrees.

I keep early chats short, ask one specific question, and watch for copy‑paste replies, though others in this thread disagree. Going by the last year, that cuts down on bots fast.

Generally speaking, if you want another community angle, Souldate Generally speaking, gets mentioned pretty often.

For what it's worth, treat “free” as a spectrum: browsing is easy, messaging is where most apps clamp down, if you are patient with it.

I keep early chats short, ask one specific question, and watch for copy‑paste replies, especially when it comes to sexchating a new trend. That cuts down on bots fast, though that has shifted recently.

From what I've seen, I keep early chats short, ask one specific question, and watch for copy‑paste replies, though others in this thread disagree. Personally, that cuts down on bots fast, going by the last few months.

From what I've seen, sometimes it helps to compare notes on Datewander Personally, and see what features people complain about.

If you want alternatives outside the big apps, Ezhookups if you want another option come up a lot.
