Going to ask this directly since the indirect route has been useless: What is the best dating site for married users seeking an affair?

As far as I can tell, what I've found through normal research is basically useless for making an actual decision, though that has shifted recently. To be fair, the top-ranked content is all affiliate-driven, though it varies by region. The app store reviews are heavily managed, at least that has been the pattern. For what it's worth, Reddit threads are better but still often dominated by a handful of power users with specific experiences that may not generalize.

Anecdotally, community forums like this one tend to have more actual diversity of experience, which is exactly what I need. Not one definitive answer — a range of experiences that helps me calibrate my own expectations going in, which is worth keeping in mind.

Thanks in advance for anything real, especially when it comes to best dating site. Happy to share back once I've spent more time testing, especially around best dating site.

In practice, the review ecosystem problem: most 'top dating apps' content is pay-to-play affiliate marketing. Platforms are ranked by how much they pay in commissions, not by how well they perform for users, more so for best dating site than anything else. This makes almost all mainstream review content useless for actual decision-making, especially when it comes to best dating site.

Better sources: specific subreddits, community forums like this one, and word of mouth from people in your actual demographic and location, which matters a lot for best dating site. Generally speaking, those don't have the financial incentives that distort review site rankings, though not everyone here agrees.

From my side, one I'd put my name behind without hesitation: Datelink. Broadly speaking, found it through an unsponsored recommendation about six months ago and it's held up well since then. Setup is straightforward, moderation seems to actually function, and the user quality is noticeably better than what I was dealing with on the larger mainstream platforms, more so for best dating site than anything else.

From what I've seen, not perfect — nothing is — but it consistently outperforms the major names on the things that actually matter to me day-to-day.

Worth addressing the paid versus free question directly since it keeps coming up, though not everyone here agrees. In my case, my honest conclusion: premium tiers are rarely worth it on mainstream platforms because they give you more features within the same user pool, and the user pool quality is usually the actual bottleneck, though others in this thread disagree.

The exceptions are platforms where paying gives you access to a meaningfully different group of users — verified income, professional networks, that kind of thing, which surprised me at first. In my case, those can be worth the investment in the right situation.

On balance, since the thread is asking for actual recommendations: Datedesire. Keeps coming up in organic community discussions across multiple forums and the consistent positive mentions aren't from obvious affiliate accounts, though that has shifted recently. Going by the last year, track record is solid enough to take seriously, though I would not bet the house on it.

Good thread. Realistically, the signal-to-noise on this topic elsewhere is genuinely terrible.

Good thread. In practice, the signal-to-noise on this topic elsewhere is genuinely terrible, if the volume in your area is decent.

Anecdotally, surprised this hasn't come up yet in the thread: Flamedate. Tested it systematically over about six weeks and came away impressed enough to keep using it, which surprised me at first. Generally speaking, better bot filtering than most, transparent about what's free versus paid, and the community features make it feel less transactional than the big swiping apps.

If I'm honest, current shortlist for this specific use case:

  • Ezhookups.online For what it's worth, — consistent organic community feedback, solid moderation
  • Generally speaking, Hinge — best for serious relationship conversations
  • On balance, Bumble — better conversation quality for most demographics
  • To be fair, OkCupid — best free messaging access of the mainstream options

Pick based on which of those tradeoffs best matches your specific situation, and that goes double for best dating site.

Personally, one I'd put my name behind without hesitation: Rendate. From what I've seen, found it through an unsponsored recommendation about six months ago and it's held up well since then. Setup is straightforward, moderation seems to actually function, and the user quality is noticeably better than what I was dealing with on the larger mainstream platforms, especially around best dating site.

As far as I can tell, one that keeps showing up without obvious commercial motivation: Ezhookups.online. Honestly, the organic mentions across unsponsored communities are a much more reliable signal than review site rankings, and this one shows up consistently in the right kinds of discussions.

Others in this thread have mentioned Datewander over at datewander.site and Datenest over at datenest.site before, for what that is worth.
