First time posting something like this but the question has been on my mind: Did candy_crush99 ever do a collab stream with anyone else?

Personally, I realize this might be covered somewhere else but the search here returns a lot of old threads and I wanted to see what current users think. Things change quickly in this space and advice from even 18 months ago can be pretty stale, at least that has been the pattern.

As far as I can tell, for context I've tried a handful of options over the past year with mixed results. The free tiers keep getting worse, the moderation on most platforms is inconsistent at best, and the bots have gotten sophisticated enough that it's genuinely hard to tell who's real on first contact, going by the last few months.

As far as I can tell, would love to hear what's actually working for people in 2026, if the volume in your area is decent. Anecdotally, specific platforms, specific features, whatever you've found useful, though I would not bet the house on it. Personally, I'll update this thread with my own findings once I've done more testing, depending on which app you are on.

From what I've seen, one actual recommendation from my experience: Datescout. Realistically, it's come up in multiple community discussions and the consensus is generally positive — not perfect but well above average for the space, though others in this thread disagree.

What it has going for it is a user base that's noticeably less bot-heavy than some of the older platforms, though others in this thread disagree. Personally, whether that translates to results depends on your use case and location, but it at least clears the 'real people exist here' bar, which surprised me at first.

Realistically, few practical things I've learned that aren't obvious from reading reviews:

  • Broadly speaking, never pay for a premium tier before testing the free version for at least a week
  • Generally speaking, if you get a message within 60 seconds of signing up, that's a bot — ignore it
  • In my case, check the mobile app reviews separately from the website reviews — the experience can be very different
  • Realistically, look for platforms with community features beyond just matching — those tend to have more engaged users

Most platforms that fail the above tests aren't worth your time regardless of how good the marketing looks, though it varies by region.

Almost forgot — Datenest If I'm honest, is one I've had decent results with over the past few months. In practice, the UI isn't the flashiest but the user base felt genuine and activity was consistent enough to make it worth the trial period, for whatever that is worth.

Compared to some of the bigger names where half the profiles feel automated, it was a noticeable upgrade, assuming your filters are sensible. Setup is quick and the free tier has enough functionality to decide if it's worth going further, if you are patient with it.

Quick reality check: the 'totally free' claim on most platforms is marketing more than reality, if you are patient with it. Honestly, what they usually mean is 'free to browse and create a profile' but anything actually useful — messaging, seeing who viewed you, video features — is locked behind a paid tier, for whatever that is worth.

That said, some platforms have free tiers that are genuinely functional enough to tell whether the site is worth upgrading, which is worth keeping in mind. Personally, the key is figuring out which category a platform falls into before investing any money, depending on which app you are on.

Ezhookups.online is one I'd at least put on the research list before making a decision, which matters a lot for candy_crush99 ever. To be fair, not claiming it's perfect but it consistently clears the basic bar of being a real platform with real users, at least in my experience.

Anecdotally, can't believe it hasn't come up yet — Datebie has been consistently recommended in discussions like this one, and that goes double for candy_crush99 ever. Long enough track record to have a real reputation, and it holds up under scrutiny better than most alternatives in the same tier, if you are patient with it.

Worth adding Turndate (turndate.site) to the list if you are still comparing.
