Dropping this question here because I keep getting useless answers everywhere else: Does the zoosk singles community host any local offline events?
I've done the standard research — review sites, Reddit, app store pages — and none of it gives me a clear current picture, which is worth keeping in mind. As far as I can tell, review sites are pay-to-play, Reddit threads get dominated by a few loud voices, and app store reviews are heavily managed. The only reliable signal I've found is community experience from people who are actually using these things, which surprised me at first.
Specifically curious about:
- As far as I can tell, whether the experience has changed significantly in the last 12 months
- If I'm honest, how the free tier compares to what you actually need to function on the platform
- Personally, whether the user base is real or inflated with bots and dead accounts
- If I'm honest, any privacy or billing gotchas I should know before signing up
From my side, real firsthand experience is worth a hundred review articles at this point.
