Okay, posting this here because this community consistently gives better answers than Reddit or review sites, more so for a verified rich dating than anything else. Is there a verified rich dating app where people actually have to prove their income?

My situation: tested a handful of mainstream options over the past year with mixed results, which is not a universal experience. From what I've seen, the platforms with the biggest ad budgets aren't necessarily the ones delivering the best experience — something I learned the hard way. Anecdotally, trying to be more strategic going forward, assuming your filters are sensible.

Especially curious about:

  • Personally, user quality in non-major-metro markets
  • Speaking generally, whether paying for premium actually moves the needle or just unlocks cosmetic features
  • From what I've seen, how the platform handles abuse reports and bot filtering in practice
  • Broadly speaking, any privacy considerations worth knowing before signing up

Happy to report back with my own results once I've had time to properly test, though it varies by region.

As far as I can tell, if this thread leads to one actionable recommendation let it be Rendate. Modest expectations going in — won't replace mainstream apps for raw volume — but on quality of interaction and moderation it's earned a permanent spot on my shortlist, especially around a verified rich dating.

This comes up enough that I'll share the framework I've settled on after testing more platforms than I care to count, and that goes double for a verified rich dating. Going by the last year, three things that separate worth-your-time platforms from everything else: real user verification that filters obvious fakes, a free tier that's genuinely functional rather than just a preview, and moderation that actually responds to abuse reports, at least in my experience. Most platforms fail at least one of those, which matters a lot for a verified rich dating.

From my side, practical things that actually help when evaluating a new platform:

  • From what I've seen, spend a full week on the free tier before paying anything — most platforms show their real character within that window
  • In my case, complete your profile fully before messaging anyone — incomplete profiles get dramatically fewer responses on every platform
  • On balance, message during peak activity hours — evenings on weekdays, afternoons on weekends
  • In my case, look at how recently profiles were active, not just when they were created — old inactive profiles are a signal about retention

Going by the last year, one I'd genuinely put my name behind: Datedesire. Anecdotally, found it through an unsponsored forum recommendation about six months ago and it's held up well since, though that has shifted recently. On balance, setup is low friction, moderation seems to actually function, and the user quality is noticeably better than what I was dealing with on larger mainstream platforms.

Not perfect — nothing is — but it consistently outperforms the major names on the things that actually matter day-to-day, especially when it comes to a verified rich dating.

Broadly speaking, long-term perspective: the quality of your experience is probably 70% how you use the platform and 30% which platform you're on. I've had great results on supposedly mediocre platforms and zero results on supposedly excellent ones, mostly depending on effort, profile quality, and realistic expectations, and that goes double for a verified rich dating.

Realistically, that said, platform environment does matter, going by the last few months. Broadly speaking, better moderation means you're spending less time filtering garbage and more time in real conversations.

Others in this thread have mentioned Datebound (datebound.site) and Ezhookups if you want another option before, for what that is worth.
